Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these little boats Used these for our 3 year old grand daughter's nautical birthday party. Her older cousins helped the kids put them together. They fit together like a puzzle so super easy, quick and fun for them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy and Fun I used these boats for a Pirate theme day at my summer camp. The kids had fun putting them together and decorating the sail. They did end up making a pretty good mess with all the packaging, but it was easy to clean up. The kids then used the boats in a race down one of the streams on our property. They had a blast chasing them down the stream and then taking them back to the start. Some had floating issues, but most did great! I will buy again next year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent quality We purchased these kits for our VBS and we were very pleased. They were easy to assemble, the kids absolutely loved them, and they really do float. It's been two weeks since VBS and they are lasting. This was an all-around excellent purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't say enough...... I LOVE this little ship craft. I bought these for a craft booth my church sponsored for our local Piratefest festival. Hands down, this was the most popular craft we offered. We even ran out by mid-afternoon. It was easy to construct and needed no glue. We had kids of all ages want these! We also did this same craft at a VBS several years ago. I know from personal experience that they really float and hold up. My kids kept theirs in the bathtub for months before it met its demise! Many crafts never even make it to the end of the day! This craft is cute and one that kids will actually enjoy for a while. We plan to buy these again--only more of them! This would also be great for pirate themed birthday parties as an activity or as party loot!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Party Favor for Pirate Party I have not yet put one together as they are going to be favors for my son's pirate birthday party but I'm excited by the quality of the foam and the size of the craft. Some party favors are cheaply made and expensive to buy but this appears to be made of more quality materials and I'm hopeful it will be not only a fun craft to make but a fun you to play with after.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Crafty Boats These boats were easy to assemble, did one first to show the kids how. They tried them out to see if they floated immediately in the wading pool, and they did. Then we decorated the sails with the kids names and we raced the boats. Lots of fun!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Purchase Extremely happy with this purchase! Used for Arts and Crafts activity at Beach/Pool Club with kids ages 3-10. The kids loved assembling them, decorating the masts with markers, and then racing them in the pool! Younger kids needed some help and older Kids used my assembled boat as a model. Great practice for fine motor skills and following directions. Would love to find more crafts like this!

Yes. They are sold by the dozen. We received 12 kits individually wrapped with supplies needed to construct 12 separate ships.

I'd like to glue these together and use them for a carnival game. Any suggestions on the kind of glue to use?

Asked by: Doug87505
They really hold together well without glue. The porthole stickers actually hold them together. If you really think glue is necessary, I would try a white school glue like Elmers. The foam is light weight, so I don't think a heavier glue would be needed. If a game is being played that would require rough treatment of the boats, keep in mind the stick for the mast can easily be broken.
