Perfect for our dance class! Well-made and will fit most head sizes, not skimpy. The hatbands are sewn on and are made of a slightly fuzzy fabric. The straw is not thin, but of a nice weight. Using them for a tap dance number and covering the hatbands with silver sequins. Good buy! April 1, 2010

These smell like fish food Yikes! I'm afraid I must agree with one of the other reviewers: these really do smell terrible. I bought 24 of them for a dance routine my class is doing. They do indeed look like fedoras and they seem to hold their shape pretty well so far. However, when we got them and opened the box, the fishy smell just overwhelmed us. I sprayed them with some pet odor remover and they are currently spread out on my back porch in the sun. I hope the smell goes away, because they really are perfect for the dance we are doing. May 3, 2011
