Great Sunday school craft for small children this a very easy craft with large pieces that peel and stick so small children can do this project themselves. My 3 year olds loved it and were so proud that they made it themselves January 23, 2011

Good Learning Tool This craft would have been perfect except that it was mssing a key purple star: Peace. All the research I did on the Advent Wreath indicated that "Peace" was always one of the themes of the 4 Sundays in Advent, the other two constants were Joy & Hope. The fourth theme varied between Love and Prepare, depending on the author of the article. Luckily I discovered the missing theme and was able to make my own "Peace" stars beforehand, with light purple foam board, white ink marker and some adhesive strips, a little time consuming but worth it. But, other than the missing star, the craft was ideal for preschoolers and my lesson on Advent. The pieces were large enough for little hands to apply and I found that the adhesive backing on the stars was just sticky enough for the children to remove and re-position if necessary. Their Advent wreaths came out beautifully! Would definitely order again if the "Peace" star was added. December 4, 2012
