Very cute and the kids love them... The only problem i found was you need your own glue, it doesnt come with anything to attach them with...

The foam pieces are cute and fun! However, be aware that the picture and description online and in their catalog is incorrect. This does NOT come with a foam frame to place the pieces. All that comes with this is a plastic piece to stuff a photo (difficult), and one word "Aloha", 4 flowers, and the palm tree, which you somehow have to attach hanging off of the plastic piece. It also comes with magnets. It is difficult to assemble, and I had to make other arrangements for the classroom to be able to assemble onto an actual frame. Oriental Trading was nice enough to help out with this since their description was incorrect.

Aloha Photo Frames
I found this project a little too difficult for First Graders. There was so much glueing involved - it would be better if the foam pieces were "stick-on" types. The foam pieces covered most of the picture opening, so alot of the photo was obscured.
Also, the photo frame is an odd size - I ordered 31/2 x 5 prints and still had to trim them down to fit into the frame. It was alot of work and not quite worth it.

It was a hit at the birthday party...simple and cheep

We purchased these kits for a birthday party, only to find out that we needed glue for the foam "stickers", and then we discovered that the magnets weren't strong enough to hold the frames on the fridge (without extra embellishments). Kind of disappointing.

Thank You Gift
I put these together for my class of 4th graders as an end of the year thank you gift.
It was easy for me to put it together... I'm trying to think if I was a kid, how easy or hard it would be.... probably okay for kids ages 9 and up to do on their own.
Price: Super! I was able to create a frame for each of my students, for much cheaper than if I went to the store and purchased store-bought frames.
Quality: I like the magnets on the back... I visited one of my students, and she had hers on the fridge. The acrylic is good quality, and so are the foam pieces.
Overall rating: Super cute!

Cute Party momento
These were a cute party gift/craft for my daughter's Hawaiian party with her 8 year old friends. Any younger and they may have trouble putting them together. Use the glue dots... a great tip and well worth the money. It was helpful to read the other reviews.

Kids loved them!!!!
Glue Gun! Use a Glue gun. Everyone at my niece's birthday party got one a year ago, and they still look great. I put these together myself and the only real trouble I had was trying to keep the plastic back panel closed. I finally just used two thin strips of clear shipping tape and it work. Loved Them! Bonus: The magnet is a good size. I thought it was going to be a small little magnet and it's not.

Good Price not so good quality
I bought these frames to use for a class party. It was difficult cutting the photos taken to fit into the frame. The frames were very cheap quality - some of them even were cracked by trying to pry the two pieces apart. The foam pieces were fine, but had to be glued - which made for a sticky mess all over the frames.
