Very Nice Americana Piece! I purchased this lamp for its attractive patriotic appeal. I have used it night and day and only recently put it away so that I'd have room for my "Luau Reunion" decorations. It will definitely be on display after the holidays! I would like for OT to stock these lightbulbs as they give the lamp extra ambience. (One star fell off, but I hot-glued it back on and haven't had any problem with it at all.) September 6, 2011

Just what I wanted! We just bought a new home and I wanted to go with the Americana theme. I bought this lamp to decorate and I absolutely LOVE it!! It adds such a great accent to my home and gives the area such a warm feeling. It is more awesome than what I initally expected it to be, and the price is great. You are able to find this same lamp on the web else where, but Oriental Trading had the best price of all. Thank you for such a great product! April 25, 2011

Cute by day... 1st one had defective cord. 2nd is fine, but worry that when the rubber tipped bulb goes out, it will not be as cute with the recommended night light bulb. Also, the picture has a well lit room, the red shade doesn't 'light up' as shown, you can't see the shade like that. Also, directions state not for permanent display. Cute by day...so so by night.
