It is a cute project, but you have to use glue. None of the adhesive worked. This is a problem in a 60 minute Sunday School class.

I liked this craft because I was able to use it for Johnny Appleseed Day and my 1st graders learned that Johnny Appleseed was a Christian, and he planted apple trees. So, this apple cross craft is a reminder of how God sees us as the apple of His eye. It was easy for the students to make and large enough. I loved the sticker backing. I hot glued on the ribbon, for it to stay on best.

This project was very easy to do. It is self-adhesive. I used it in September to go with a Johnny Appleseed unit for 5th-6th graders. It was almost too easy for them, but they still enjoyed it! The pieces were all there. I was given lots of extra leaf and stem pieces.
