Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by leaann great for parties
The pinta holds 8lbs of candy and toys. It did not tear or break anywhere while mounting it. It held up to its prior reviews. I would purchase this again for a party for my childern.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by BaseballFamily Split in half after two good swings from an 8yr old!
My twin boys LOVE baseball so I thought this would be a good purchase for their Birthday party. It is POORLY constructed - two paper mache half circles held together by an obviously a thin layer of paper mache at the center. Two swings from one of my 8 yr olds and it split apart. The kids loved what was inside but were bummed out that they didn't get a chance at the piñata!

I bought this piñata for a party. When it arrived I noticed it was bumpy. I had to deconstruct it . The paper mache was very poorly done and had huge bumps and wasn't even touching in some places. For a simple sphere, I would have expected the workers to have made the surface smooth.

Bought this as a gag gift for my husbands softball team. Loved it and we had great laughs because of the faces on them.

It's a big, sturdy piñata! I put 10 lbs of candy in there and it was still not full. I had to stop there for fear of the weight being too heavy. Sure enough the hook on the piñata broke off. So I had to wrap the piñata with my own rope and the kids had great fun. It took a lot of beat before the candies started to fall out.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Cologal Broke too quickly
I thought this pinata looked great for my kids' party, but it split open after only a couple of whacks. I think the issue was that, because it's a sphere, it is assembled as two pieces with a seam right at the center of the pinata.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by AMomAndCMDirector It broke on the first hit!
This pinata is cute but small. It broke off the string on the first hit. We re-tied it using the fill hole but it broke off the rope again. I guess if you don't fill it up it'll be lighter but that means it would only hold enough candy for about a 10 kid party. Of course the kids weren't too disappointed when we just poured out the candy.
