We made these as part of a craft birthday party for my 8 (turning 9) year old daughter. The girls finished without any help and loved the craft. It turned out as we expected.

Easy ornament for kids or adults
Ornaments are easy to make. I used the left over length of the main chenille stick to make the bow instead of using the smaller one to make a separate bow to glue on. These are very easy to make and would be great for kids.

Great Project any age
I bought several of these for a reward party my 3rd graders had. They LOVED the project and, when finished, asked if they could create more. The only drawback we encountered was some confusion over the directions.

Simplicity
I devised a set of standards based craft activities for my daughter's 2nd grade class. The wreath appeared to be a little complicated for them but once the parent volunteers got the hang of it so did the children. It was a fun craft. I agree that there were not enough beads for the mistakes little hands make. As for the bow if you modify your instructions instead of doubling up the chenile stem this will work and allow you to fit the beads through. lString your beads so that you end up with an even number of beads on each side (as if you folded the chenile stem in half) use the extra chenile to shape a bow. If you follow this advice on using the chenile stem, then the extra piece does not have to be used for a bow at all unless you want to.

Good craft
We did this craft in a 2nd grade classroom for Christmas party. It was challenging enough but not too difficult. The kids enjoyed doing it. I made little cards to attach to the wreaths for the kids to write their name and year the craft was made. All the pieces were there and It was great because no additional glue or product was required to make them.

Fun to make
These actually look better in real life because the green is darker than it looks here. The hardest part is figuring out how to make your bow, but even that's pretty easy to do with pipe cleaners. Makes a really cute ornament.

Fun afternoon
I bought this along with several other kids for my kids to make during December. My kids are 5, 8 & 11, and all of them enjoyed making these. They all needed help finishing the wreaths, but strung the beads themselves. One criticism - the instructions tell you to start with a red bead, but if you do, you'll have leftover green beads. Start with the green beads! Super fun.
