Worked great for young toddlers
I bought these for a garden party bug fest birthday for my 2 year old daughter. The nets are a little small and the clips were only useful for attaching to the goodie bags. They definitely did their job and the size was perfect for all the little toddlers - each rounding up about 8 small plastic bugs a piece. They had a blast! All the reviews of the event were so positive. Every child found bugs and every child had no problem (at least 15 kids). As long as you are not looking for a long term toy, they are great!

great for camp theme
These were a bit on the small side but in fact are probably the right size for catching bugs, who wants to dig way down to get it out! Good quality and look nice too.

Kids love it!
I bought these nets as a gift for my grandchildren. lThey love to catch bugs and fireflies. They will love them.

good
I bought these nets for a butterfly catching game for my daughter's birthday. The children loved them, but the nets were a lot smaller then I expected. They still worked for the game, but their size made it a lot harder for the kids to catch with. These nets are a good buy as long as you know they are more like mino nets instead of butterfly nets.

Good LITTLE Nets
Nice, cute LITTLE nets. Look at the size because I didn't :-) But kids are still having fun with them.

Cute, but smaller than expected
I bought these as party favors for my daughter's 2nd birthday. They are cute, but very small. I would recommend them, though.

Good not great!
I think these nets are a great size for young kids. They are big and bright, however, I had one out of five break on me the first time I put them out.
But, for the price I would order them again for my Church!

Great nets, skip the clips.
These nets were a great combination with the "bug boxes". They proved to be the biggest hit at my twin 3 year old boys' birthday party. I would highly reccommend removing those orange clips on the handles. They are flimsy and dettach themseleves quickly. They do not serve a purpose, except for positioning themselves under foot when you're not looking, or wedging themselves in the vacuum cleaner just far enough out of reach to take the thing apart!

Good not great
These bug nets are good for what I purchased them for. As a teaher of elementary students, the nets will be fun to catch small insects.But, the workmanship is not top quality.

Don't expect much, but they work
I used these for my 4-year old's bug themed birthday party. From reading the reviews, I knew that these weren't going to be a stellar product. However, I wanted little bug nets for the kids to scoop up fake bugs as part of a game. They did the job just fine and the kids loved them.
They are indeed quite small, but again, they weren't scooping up jumbo bugs, so I found the size adequate. We didn't have any problems with defective nets, though we only needed 9 for the party.
I would recommend them for the type of use described above. I doubt you'd be very successful trying to catch any butterflies with these.
