Camp Raccoon Picture Frame Magnet Craft Kit
Couldn't start the school year off without them!
My classroom theme is Camp Kindergarten. The students make their frame at open house and I add their pictures. They hang in our hall all year to display their book reports under! Best ever!

a little time consuming for some
cute idea and all the kids at the event wanted to do this craft. the only downside was the time it took to punch out and glue all the pieces. and i would suggest using liquid glue not a glue stick. i wanted to save myself from a big mess by using glue sticks but it just wasn't sticky enough.

Great Raccoon Craft
My daughter loves raccoons, and we are having a raccoon themed birthday party for her. It was great to find these raccoon foam frame crafts, we will give them out as party favors. We made a few to check the quality, and they were great, easy to put together by my 6 year old, and looked so cute.

Labor intensive, not for young children
The finished products will be perfect for our "camping"-themed VBS...BUT I thought about returning them the minute I opened the first package. We have 50-60 kids come to our VBS and I would only trust the oldest age group to assemble them, and it would take 2 sessions to allow time for the glue to dry. The other director and I are putting them together at home ahead of time and it is time-consuming. The other part I don't like is the odd-size opening for the photo. We want a picture of each child to go in there so they can take this home to remember the occasion, but it's going to be hard to get a short and wide photo of the child that will work in this opening. I definitely wish I had found something else instead of these and would not recommend them to anyone else unless you have older kids and lots of time and patience.

Nice product but missing pieces
My students really enjoy making the frames. They are pretty easy to put together. My only complaint is that every year we order these frames for classroom there are missing pieces. It seems to always be the raccoon arm so I always have to order extra. I wish they would put an additional little bag of "extras" in with the order.

Great project - well worth it
As a Director of Children's ministry I am always looking for items that can be used as incentives for Bible verse memorization. I was looking for a camping related item to go along with our camping theme this quarter. These frames are great as a send home incentive for learning their verses. I will also be sending home a picture of the kids with the frame so that they can display it on the fridge! There were a couple of pieces missing from a couple of the packages, but they were minor and I was able to make it work based on the extras I had of other pieces. The magnets were missing from one of the packages. I would recommend using hot glue rather than foam glue to make the project go quickly. The finished project was very cute! Great deal!

These frames turned out really cute for my cub scouts. There was only one thing I had to fix--the moon faces were "off", either in the wrong places or completely missing (ie an eye where the mouth should be, or the eye completely off the punch out). I ended up turning most of them over, drawing on my own face with a paint marker in the correct spot, and gluing them on the opposite side of the frame then in the example. They still turned out really cute, but it would have been nice, and a little less time consuming, for the product to arrive in perfect condition in the the first place.
