what a great idea !!!
These metal cattails are an adorable addition in my backyard !!! They are durable, sturdy, and easy to refill. They are not completely squirrel proof, but it is entertaining watching the squirrels try to figure out how to get to the seed. I have seen these cattails advertised in other catalogs for much more... and, I'm glad I found them for less at Oriental Trading !

Wonderful gift
I bought this item for my dad, who loves birds and enjoys watching them.. I wasnt really sure about it when I purchased it due to some of the comments but when my dad opened it and I got to see it for the 1st time, I was really pleased. There are 2 cattails in the order and both are made of a bronzy type metal. The leaves surrounding the cattails open and you can position them anyway you want. A wonderful present for a great price. I will recommend to my friends

smaller than expected, but still cool
I filled with sunflower seeds. They are not as big as I was imagining, but they still look nice in the yard and seem to be put together nicely. They come in 3 pieces that thread together, easy assembly.

Good but disappointed
The feeders look just like the picture and the flip top is great for refilling. However, upon taking one out of the cardboard protector, a leaf just fell off. I ordered 6 of these and am hopeful that this will not happen again to the remainder. The vein to connect is so thin that I cannot get it to hold to repair. Overall, it seems like a good product..

The cattail bird feeders are nice. I think they add to the yard but am having trouble finding bird seed that will stay in them because of the size of the mesh. What do you reccomend? I am using chicken scratch but the only birds that get it are grackles and pigeons
