it's amazing
Mini wooden blackboards provide nostalgic signage. I used to create charming labels for a "Candy Bar". Whether used to guest table numbers or other small messages, the hand-made quality is currently a very popular decor style.

The cutest ever!
I bought the individual chalkboards to use for the candy buffet at at baby shower with the theme of Winnie the Pooh. They were perfect to name each type of candy. I used a white out pen to write on the boards. They have a support piece of wood on the back so they automatically stood up too. The rope and heart just added to the Winnie in the Woods theme. I also used them and framed Winnie the Pooh special quotes. I copied the paper in black and used white font. I used fabric glue to place the quotes in the frame. They added very special touches to the baby shower theme. Thank you Oriental!

So many uses
I bought these to use at a bridal shower. We were going for a rustic vintage theme and wrote short love quotes or saying on them and scattered them throughout the buffet table among the food and on the guest tables. Note that it is ONLY 3" wide. I think they're about 2" tall so there is not a lot of room to write things. If you're using them for place cards, I think that's fine, but no sonnets. They are rough, not a smooth chalk board finish, so I used a silver Sharpie to write my quotes on it, since I won't be using them again. If you have plans to re-use, then I suggest buying real chalk board paint and going back over these.

Cute but could be better
I'm using these for my wedding to label different food items. Very cute but they stand so straight up that you have to be directly at their level to see what the "chalkboard" says. Would be a lot better if they were at a bit of a tilt. I'll probably write on these with a silver marker so they'll probably be a one time use item as the chalkboard isn't really a reusable chalkboard.

Great but Not Re-Writable
I bought these for an engagement party to identify the different foods I will be serving. They will serve the purpose, however, the black "chalk board" area is not chalk board. The black area is actually wood, so you cannot write on it and erase, I'm sure you could use a wet cloth but after time it will not hold up like an actual chalkboard. The construction of the items appears hand-built as the construction is not precise between the dozen. Regardless, they serve their purpose for me!

Cute, but small.
I bought these to add to my centerpieces at my wedding. They were super cute when I got them in but didn't realize how small they were. That's probably my fault for not reading the measurements. I'm still going to use them but I'm not going to write anything on them since there isn't much room.
