Great pool party favor
For each child we rolled up a brightly colored beach towel and put one goggle around it instead of a ribbon or tie. These goggles are great and were a big hit. We did not see any paint problems, the kids loved the silly creatures, and the goggles were absolutely fine for a post-party treat. I wouldn't rely on these for, say, competitive swimming or weekly swim lessons, but these are great for those backyard splash times or even tub time.

Works with some work
These were really cute and started off as a big hit at a girl's 8th birthday. They were quickly discarded, however, when they failed to actually work as googles. The rubber strap does not secure tightly as packaged, so they easily expand and then fail to seal.
I did find if you spend some effort reweaving the rubber band a little differently, so that the rubber doubles on itself, they will hold tight (although much harder to adjust after). But as packaged, they just don't hold tight - and it's a lot of work to redo 12 of these for anxiously waiting kids. Plan ahead!

It will do
Bought these for my girls' upcoming 5th birthday pool party. I've let them test drive them in the tub, to see how they'll do. Well, we're going to have to open each one and adjust the length and tie the ends. I think we have to re-adjust and tie them every time my girls use them, it's a rubbery-band that slips out all the time. But, for a pool party, it's a pretty cool party favor, and they are cute.

Great playtime goggles.
We had a pool party for my son's 7th birthday party. The kids who owned their own "real" goggles weren't as impressed with these as the others, but the ones without goggles wore them for the party and were quite thrilled to get to take them home afterwards. One boy's fell off during the party, and they sank to the bottom of the 12 foot deep end, but the lifeguard was able to retrieve them for us after the party. No complaints about the creature selections, either--all were popular.

Nice goggles for a pary favor
These were cute as part of a goody bag at my son's pool party. They are cute, not diving or competitive swimming grade, so yes, they are not of the highest quality but fun nonetheless. For the price, they are worth it considering most kids will end up losing or breaking them.

Very cute, but hard to adjust without breaking
We included these in the favor bags for my 6 year old's birthday party. My daughter insisted that we include goggles for her pool party. The goggles are very cute, but are difficult to adjust without breaking. You had to remove each side of the strap and re-thread them in order to adjust them. I also find them hard to re-thread. I was glad that I ordered more than I needed since we did have some break before we figured out how they had to be adjusted.

Not next time
I bought these to go into my daughters goody bags for her birthday party, which was a pool party, and they were not very reliable. The straps would not stay put, they kepty coming undone, and the paint was wearing off onto the kids noses. They are cute but I wouldn't buy again.

No thanks
I thought the kids looked cute in them, although at 9 I think they were a bit too old for them. Unfortunately the straps would not stay where they were supposed to and we ended up tying them in a knot on the kids heads once they were sized.

NOT WORTH PRICE!!
I purchased these for my son's birthday pool party. HORRIBLE. The kids couldn't keep them on their face the straps kept coming undone. The goggles themselves were missing paint and looked horrible. The kids finally ditched them and didn't even want to take them home with them. I now have 2 dozen useless goggles I will probably throw out.

hurt little faces
These are adorable little goggles, but when the kids tried to wear them tight enough to seal out the air, the fish fins dug into their noses. They were cute, and fun to wear out of the water but not functional.
