I love these fans!
I bought these fans to use as decorations for a chinese-themed party. They are really pretty and classy looking. The price is also excellent. I can't wait to set my party tables!

Looked great!
I hosted a dinner table for a Women's Tea Party and my theme was Asian. I opened up each fan and placed it in front of each place setting. I also bought chopsticks and the 6" black/red dragon totes. The fan can easily tear so be careful. But for the quantity and price and the ambience it created, it was worth it. I would definitely buy this again.

Poor quality
Most of these fans tore away from plastic frame upon first opening. The rest were destroyed quickly with just a couple fans in the air. We had to throw them away, even though they were popular with the kids...until they broke.

Okay for limited use
We bought these for our Daisy Troop when we were doing a section on China. The girls loved the fans but they definitely don't hold up to much use. Not that I expected them to at this price. They served the purpose to get the girls excited but I would buy higher quality ones if we were going to be using them for dress-up or something like that. One or two broke as soon as they were opened but Oriental Trading sent us some new ones so we'd have enough. Great Customer Service!

Couldn't Be Prettier OR More Flimsy!
This was another of the oriental products that we of lesser quality than we bargined for. They are really BEAUTIFUL and if you want them for looks only, then this is the product for you!
BUT, should you actually plan to USE it, then keep looking. It is so flimsy that the one I was using to show the children the prizes avaiable crumpled after being opened only two times. It is now UTTERLY DESTORYED!

Horrible Quality
I ordered these as party favors. At least half of them were already torn or came loose from the frame the first time they were opened. The rest only lasted a few times of being opened and closed. Heaven forbid you actually fan with them - the wind generated is enough to tear them. I had a few extras, but even with relatively calm 8 year old girls I ran out within ten minutes. I'm planning to call to complain to Oriental Trading as soon as I get a few spare moments.
