not very good These are a lot smaller than they seem they are going to be. If your looking for something for Chinese New Year I would suggest the big red ones with dragons on them. A much more appropriate color, also comes with supports so the lantern keeps it's shape. Plus they are lit! February 13, 2010

These would be great... for a FUNERAL! Um, these are great, but most certainly not for Chinese New Year unless you want to come across as ignorant and rude! White is a funeral color.... it's like saying "I hope you die next year." January 7, 2010

Questionable They do not look like they do in the picture. They are must smaller and the strap on top is flimsy and bent. They do not hang strait as the strap on top is mangeled. I order 3 sets and all were the same. They are so tightly squished together that they don't open. They do not come with anything to keep them seperated so they snap shut when you stretch them out. Iam going to try and still use them for my party, but I am going to have to put some sort of wait in the bottom to hold open. I would not recomend then unless you are ready to get creative. If you need lanterns I would say buy the Design your own ones, They come in a pack of 12 and are very well made and they stay open!!! November 24, 2008
