Chinese New Year Drum Ornaments
Smaller than expected
I was surprised how little the drums are. I thought the five inches referred to the drums themselves. The total length is five inches. They are really cute! I used them at a Chinese New Year gathering. I placed one around each set of chopsticks at the table and gave them to the children in their goody bags.

Some Assembly Required
I ordered three units (dozen) of these little drums to give away at a lunar new year party. They are cute and I think my guests will enjoy receiving them. However, the quality left something to be desired. The first dozen were okay, but the second bag had only six drums completely intact. The rest were a jumble of drums, bits and pieces of bells, and metal rings. The third bag was a little better, with two of the twelve drums in pieces, one of which the knot above the drum was pretty mangled and unraveling. I spent about an hour with a pair of needle-nose pliers re-assembling the broken drums. In the end, I still had two drums that were incomplete - missing some bells and one of the knot-and-loops. I still recommend this product but had I ended up with three bags that had half the drums in pieces, I would have sent them back.
