classic paper weight small wooden yo yo does not work October 5, 2011

Not Really New and Improved The yo-yos are SMALL - 1 1/2 (not 2 inches) in diameter. the string is very short, rendering them pretty much useless. Oriental Trading was good about return credit. May 20, 2011

Do Not Buy These I should have listened to the other reviews...These are so poorly made! I tried to fix them. Even after all the extra trouble, they still did not work. June 24, 2010

Have as much luck with a wooden spool. These were fun to paint, but when it came time to play with them, they only went one way: down. Does that make them "yo"s? Most of them were lopsided, with spindles that were off-center. The strings were glued to the spindles as well. Altogether disappointing. March 17, 2009

Yo yos They're cute but they don't work because of the way they're put together. February 3, 2009

Great for decorating The wooden yo-yos are great for decorating. The surface is smooth and easy to color or paint. They would make great tree ornaments, but don't expect to actually play with them. The string is glued instead of working loosely around the axis, so once you drop it down, that's it. December 22, 2008
