Color Your Own Chinese Calendars
Great for kids
I purchased these for my 1st grader's class. The kids loved looking at these, finding their friends/siblings and were talking about asking their parents where they land. If you look, there is a 12 year difference between the years within a zodiac sign, so you can easily figure out the sign for people who are older. They liked coloring it--it is very sturdy. Great buy!

I bought this for my daughter's 3rd grade class. The kids loved it. It was big and sturdy. The kids were able to color it and thought it was fun to find out the year everybody was born to include their parents.

Kids Enjoyed this!
This is a cool activity to do with kids of all ages.
As a down side, the glossy cardboard that is used for these products can be difficult to work with using wax crayons. You may want to invest in some fine-tipped markers. It works better.

Coloring for GrownUps
I brought this product as a craft project for a college dorm. The students loved it! They were able to find information and to color the calendars any way they wanted.

sturdy... not enough years
This is sturdier than I expected. The years do not go back far enough for kids to use with grandparents though. They can subtract it if needed.

We have a boy from China in our class this year. These calendars are good quality and I can't wait to use them for the Chinese New Year.

fun & learn
This "color your own"Chinese New Year calendar is a great addition to a social studies unit. The Chinese calendar is always a part of my instruction, and creating it so that the children color their own was a great idea. The pictures are adorable, and it is a terrific size for both coloring and learning. I will definitely be ordering more for next year.
