Color Your Own Holiday Plates
For the last two years, I have purchased these plates. My kids go wild over them! I have put my own baked goods in them and given them as gifts. The recipients go crazy for the cookies and candies, but love the plate as well. I am likely to purchase again and again!!

Bought as craft for FairyTale Saturdays at our Baltimore store- goes from noon to 4:30 kids coming and going through the day. Also used for Santa craft when we had Santa at store all during the Holidays.
Everyone adults and kids loved this craft and that it was a useable craft in the Holiday tradition. That it has 3 pictures to color is great. It kept the kids who were at our events for long periods of times happy and those who were there for only a short period more fun to look forward to. Some parents were going to have them do a drawing next year.

These CHRISTMAS plates are precious. We had a cookie swap at our family CHRISTMAS party last year and gave them to the children. I don't know why anyone would call them "Holiday" plates. I didn't know that Santa was symbolic of any holiday other than CHRISTMAS.

What a great idea!
This item was a great value for the price because I got nine plates, each with three different pictures to color. The bottom was difficult to get back when we were putting them together. I also would not recommend using wet or messy snacks on them as the back/bottom should not get wet due to the plates not being water-proof where the picture inset is located. However, my kids loved leaving snacks for Santa on these plates and they will get much use.

Good for Santa
I purchased these plates just to have for the kids to put cookies for Santa on for Christmas. They were not intended for everyday use. It is very hard to change the picture. We acually cracked a plate trying to get the picutres out for the first time. I think it would be better if they made it easier to get them out. You have to bend the plate to get them out, which is how it cracked. If you are thinking of purchasing these for everyday use, I would not but if you want them for Santa, I think it's a great idea.

I ordered this for my son's breakfast birthday party. I took our the santa pictures and made my own with my sons name and age. The kids loved coloring them and using them for their breakfast. It made a great party favor! And for a clearance item it was a great price. The overall quality was a bit iffy. The bottom cover that held the coloring photo in can fall out easily but the kids can remove the picture and wash the plate... I guess you cant have it all!

You can color the enclosed paper or make your own. My Daisy scout troop used holiday colors red and green we added a cut doilies and a current photo. On the edge of the plate we decorated with foam cutouts. Then added a name and date with a permanent marker. Nice gift for parent to remember when.......

Breakable fun! SANTA PLATES
My childcare was so excited to be making special plates for Santa. They loved the idea but the plates came broke in the mail. The company QUICKLY sent us out other plates. The kids had fun coloring the inserts and I puffy painted Merry Christmas love (the childs name) around the edge. They came out great......but two of the kids dropped it from kid level onto the carpet and it broke. So they are fun....but cheap plastic and breaks VERY easily.....

These were alright for a project for my preschoolers, but the over all quality of them didn't impress me much. They did however have more than one scene to color, so the children were able to choose what was inserted.
