Lions and tigers and elephants, oh my! Decorate and wear one of these animal masks when you head off to the zoo! Use markers, paint and colored pencils to customize one of these safari animal masks. Each 6" - 7 3/4" cardboard mask includes an elastic band. (12 masks per unit) Some assembly required. We recommend using crayons, colored pencils, washable or permanent markers or tempera paint, sold separately online. © OTC

Age Recommendation:

Ages 5 & Up: Containing medium-sized pieces with the occasional angular edge, these lightweight to sturdy crafts may require some assembly such as stringing beads or gluing items to create a 3-dimensional project.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by fun zoo mask Worked great for study of Noah. Kids were able to color them and act out the story. Good quality paper. March 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Satisfied Very cute I like to get these for baby showers to entertain the kids with. They always love them and I think it's cute to have the kids running around in mask that are the same as the theme. February 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fun for the kids Kids colored these and wore them as part of our credit union's youth week promotion activities. They loved them! August 18, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by fun faces I purchased these masks for party favors. The boys really appreciated the animals. And the small marker sets that I also bought through Oriental Trading were perfect to pair-up with them. The markers offered a great range of colors so the kids were very pleased. I left the elastic off because I wanted them to have a smooth surface to color. I put the cord on without trouble, I did not let my 7 year old try as I thought that would be too frustrating. Cute product and good price and many animals to choose from. October 12, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Zoo Animal Masks I bought these for our VBS kids as a craft. They loved coloring them and wearing them. July 3, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy craft I let the students in my Pre-K class color the masks for our zoo animal theme and the students had a lot of fun. They liked to wear the masks after they were colored and they looked cute. May 21, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Missing parts and pieces I purchased two packages of Zoo Animal Masks. One package had only 10 masks and the other package had 12 masks and no elastic bands. It would have been ideal to have all the parts for both packages. I would say the masks work okay, but would be better if not made out of slick paper, so the crayons work better. We did not try with markers. If you purchase just expect that something could be missing. October 18, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Prepare for smudges everywhere These masks were a hit at the party for the little ones, however, the finish did not allow for the markers to dry. We used Crayola Markers and even Sharpies and the color continued to rub off on everything. We ended up with kids with markers all over their hands and clothes. :( February 8, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Fun Craft for Little Kids I used these for ninety 3 to 5 year old children to color at a Safari VBS. They are thick enough to stand up to rough playing. However, I had all of the strings knotted by volunteers before we gave them to the children to color. They were a little hard to knot, and I think that it would have taken too long to knot them for a whole class of young children if we hadn't done that task beforehand. July 14, 2011
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Fun project at a great price. The kids (2-7 years old) loved decorating these masks during my 4 year old son's birthday. We painted them with tempura & paint dots before lunch, put them in the sun and they were ready for a group picture an hour later. I thought about buying the foam masks (instant gratification) but the craft part of this project was perfect for this bunch. Many parents were impressed and asked where I found the masks. All the masks held up perfectly (some were loaded with paint). Many of the kids wore their masks upside down, I think because the way the nose gets covered, but no one seemed to care or notice.
