Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect timing I am holding a scavenger hunt/race for a charity event and wanted to use hundreds of eggs to hide clues in. I had no idea that at this time of year I could even purchase eggs! The price on these was great, and I got them so fast! Perfect timing for the race, Oriental Trading saved me again! The eggs are your basic plastic Easter egg, but just what I needed. August 31, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Absolutely great! Great price & great quality April 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great find Who here has a kid that needs to take eggs for class party, after school program, wants to give to friends at church and have an Easter egg hunt with family? Searching for that many eggs at a store is ridiculous. This is great quality and find for a really good prize. None broke too so they are ready to use next year. April 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Colorful Easter Eggs These eggs were exactly what I expected. I filled them with candy for an Easter Egg Hunt in our neighborhood. April 17, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Happy customer I do an annual egg hunt for the community. We put out about 6-7k eggs. OT had the best prices and a great selection. This is our third year purchasing these eggs. April 14, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good for a big easter egg hunt While these eggs are not the best quality (several were not attached at that little plastic "hinge" but could still be put together), they were perfect for the community event that I held. They fit a couple small pieces of candy and a slip of paper that talked about the event. I'll definitely buy these again next year! April 13, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great value Would buy and recommend again, and will. April 13, 2016

Have bought eggs the last 3 years. First year were horrible.... However, there must have been something wrong at the manufactures, the next 2 years have been wonderful. They stay closed when you shut them and they are hinged.

the eggs are hinged. I received this a couple weeks ago so i threw away the box so dont remember the size of the package but it was packed in a relatively large box with that bubble paper to prevent crushing but i also ordered other items too. I received it in good condition and i'm all the way in trinidad & tobago

The eggs come open and stacked so that they're more compact for delivery. I ordered mine with other things, but these come in a package that's about 6x12 inches, maybe a little smaller than that.

Q:
The description says 144 pieces. Does that mean each half is a piece and that 72 whole eggs are included? Or are there 144 eggs? Seems like this should be included in the description so we can plan accordingly.

It really depends on the shape of your item. The widest parts of the egg will accommodate an item of that size. However, the egg is tapered at the one end.
