Excellent quick craft project Excellent craft - was used during kids carnival and Earth Day events. Works best with kid friendly markers. May 14, 2009

Cute & Easy These are simple and really cute when finished. I do them every year with story time. They're an easy craft to pull out at the last minute. I've never had any trouble getting the pencils to go through. The only problem I've had is the antennas are easy to rip off. September 5, 2012

Using as party favors & decorations I bought these for my son's 1st birthday party (bug themed). Since there are 50 pieces I am using them as decorations and party favors for the little kids. Pretty sturdy cardboard so they should hold up nicely (not cheap paper-y item). Would be nice as a craft project for a classroom also. September 4, 2012

Almost This appears to be a great craft but the problem is, a regular yellow #2 pencil will not fit the slightly smaller pencil holes. I will have to think of another way to use them. Probably turn them into bookmarks by folding them in half and gluing before coloring. June 18, 2012

Larger than expected The pieces were much larger than I had expected! The only negative thing I'd have to say is that I wish the folding points were pre-creased, making it easier for the kids. February 16, 2012
