Excellent for Western Theme Activities
All the students really enjoyed constructing their own Cowboy Hat to include adding additional self-adhesive foam western figures onto their hat. Was excellent for our annual classroom western theme end-of-year play.

Disappointed
I ordered this for kids at my sons birthday party. The idea is cute, but the quality was terrible. There weren't enough stars for the hats nor were there enough jewels for the hats and they don't send extra as they do with other crafts. The ink on the stars was awful. It was light and faint on some and thick and smeared on others. I could not use them for the party due to the poor quality and not being 12 stars for the hats and not enough jewels. Very disappointed.

Needs more quality control
Many stamped Sheriff and star outline were not centered, Some hats were damaged. It appeared they got caught in the cutting machine.

Hat would not stay on my head lead alone a child's
warning: You need your own adhesive. I thought this idea would work but the craft needs glue and it would have been nice to know that before we started. The hat did not fit anyone properly.

Very cute, only problem was they are too large for a child's head so we cut the back so we could fit it to the childs head and then just glued the ends together.

Cowboy Hat - Okay Project
Used w/ 2-3 yr olds - a couple hats got torn right away but otherwise an easy project to complete and made a cute hat.

There is not much to decorate, unless you throw in some markers, etc., but the kids really love this one.

Way too big for kids!
I ordered 3 dz of these for my daughters 5th birthday. They are adorable and of good quality. Unfortunately they are too large for a child's head. It slipped right over her head and down around her neck. They fit my husband's head well and he has a large head! My best measurment of the hat is a 22' circumference. My other complaint is that the star and sequins are not self-adhesive-the directions say use a hot glue gun. I prefer not to around 30+ 5-year olds. Note: OTC customer service is always outstanding!
