Creepy Skull With Green LED Eyes
Surprised how much I like this creepy door "wreath"
I like the overall look of this decoration, which we hung by the front door. It looks as though it were made of better-quality materials, even close up. The face is made of styrofoam, the eyes are hard plastic (think ping pong balls). The fabric "hair" on ours was a gray rather than black. The eyes are turned on using a switch in the back. The switch was somewhat tight so my impulse was to brace my thumb on the opposite side of the thing to be able to turn it on or off. This could quickly mess up the rather fragile front, so I was extra gentle; I don't like having to buy new stuff or sending the old to the landfill.
For that reason, I was a bit worried whether the styrofoam face would survive my 9 year old. No worries necessary; his first act was to poke in one of the big plastic eyes. The styrofoam weathered the storm just fine.
The eyes don't flash on and off, just back and forth. It's nice: simple and creepy. Worth the sale price for sure.
