Nice Wintery Ornaments I wanted snowflake ornaments for a skinny seven foot tall pencil tree. After considering ones made of metal, wood or ceramic, I finally chose these. I liked that they were light-weight and would not weigh the tree branches down. I put them on my tree last winter. They were okay. This year, before I put them on the tree, on each one I shortened the string used to hang the ornament by about half. Now they look perfect. With the shorter string, the snowflakes hang just off the tip of the tree branches and appear bolder. November 25, 2011

Pretty! Simple, pretty, and a great price. If I was doing a snowflake theme tree this year, I would have definitely used these all over the tree. As it is, I bought 2 dozen and they look great. Not at the Top of Must Buys I made several purchases for our Winter Wonderland Theme at work and these flakes were the least impressive. Sure, we can use them year-to-year as fillers; they are definitely not a highlight though. They are small and dull. If you are out of options, have the team craft handmade paper flakes instead.
