Nice, easy to do
The cross is just the right size and comes with a sturdy string and several beads, as well as instructions for putting it together. It's very easy so younger children can do it, but even the older kids (my 14 year old daughter) thought it was 'cool.'

Great quick craft
I bought these for my Wednesday night kids class at church. They definitely need a hands on craft in a short amount of allotted time and this worked great!

Kids and Parents both impressed
We used these necklaces as an optional activity station at the beginning of the Sunday school lesson for 3, 4, and 5 year olds. About half of the kids chose to do it, and after they were done, many of the other kids were impressed. Even the boys wanted to make them to give to their sisters or moms. Keeping the beads on the strings required a little help for the 3 year olds, but the 4 and 5 year olds could do this one on their own until the string needed to be tied.

Great for VBS
I used this for VBS (ages 7-10). The kids loved putting it together as we discussed what each color means. We followed the order of the rainbow colors, to tie in with the theme of "God's Promises." Red: Jesus' blood shed
Yellow: Glory and hope of Jesus' return, the golden road in Heaven. Green: Everlasting life through Jesus. Blue: Heaven, Jesus' bruises during the crucification. Purple: Royalty, Jesus is the King of Kings. White: Forgiven through Jesus. Black: Darkness, a life without a relationship with Jesus. The kids LOVED the discussion as they listened intently while stringing their beads. Great learning tool which kids were very excited to wear!

Great Product
I bought this for our 3-5 year class at church and the kids loved it. They had a lot of fun making the necklaces and they wanted to wear them right away.
