Fun craft for kids
I purchased the Cross sand art bottles necklaces for an Easter Sunday School craft years ago and the kids loved it. My High School son is going on a missions trip to Honduras and he is bringing 45 crosses and colored sand for the kids that they will be working with there. They will have a blast making them!!

Poor quality
We used them for vbs and the tops would not stay on after being screwed on and the clear contaiers cracked very easily. We didn't notice it right away it was after a few hours of the craft and walking around with them on their necks.

Big Hit!
We bought these for a community market night, where our church hosts a booth and free kids craft each year. These crosses were the biggest draw we have had in the 5 years we've been hosting the booth! I was shocked at how kids of all faiths were drawn to the craft and were bringing other kids back to make one as well. The booth is outdoors so the sand is not an issue. Takes only a few minutes for the kids to complete. Most ages can complete unassisted. We punched holes in a box and lined up crosses for several kids to create at once.

Filled with SUGAR instead of sand.
We bought these for our Harvest Party and used them to tell the Color Salvation Story as the kids filled them with layers of colored SUGAR (decorating type) like a pixie tube type treat that they could wear as a necklace, also. The crosses came with funnels, so getting the sugar in was easy. We stuck the crosses in a piece of foam to keep them standing while filling, put on the lid, removed them from the stand and the kids were off. They loved them!

Great idea for kids
We used the crosses (and others) at our church food festival, they were sold out within the hour of opening. this is our 2nd year purchases and we should have plenty!

Will purchase again
The kids at Sunday school loved them and wanted to do more. The kids want us to put them in the little "store" they get at the end of the month. They accumulate the " I was caught being good" coins to "buy" things. We're going to do just that.

Nice purchase
The necklaces were nice quality, but was a little disappointed that the sand did not come with them. they were very colorful and sturdy!

Good purchase
Used in VBS. Students from age 4 all the way to completed grade 6 used this craft and all seemed to enjoy it. We used play dough at the very top to keep the sand from mixing altogether. Fill with one color of sand and then tap the bottom of the cross gently to help sand to settle. Do this for every layer of sand you add. I think we had 1-2 broken crosses out of an order of 120.

The kids love these. Buy a couple extra, some are weak or already have holes. Also, the string have become shortener and only fit small children now.

Great item for festival
This was a big hit for crafts at our annual church festival for kids ages 3 --11. Quick & easy craft - will definitely order again. Ordered the 8 piece sand kit & extra funnels.
