Great for all ages
I bought this for a church event for all ages. It was great to see a 62 year old man and a 4 year old boy working on these side by side. Both had a great time, and both crosses turned out great. They really did look like the picture on the website.
In fact, the crosses look nice enough that we are going to give them as small gifts to families who host church members on a mission trip.

Colorful Crosses
I purchased these for my Church's Sunday school class, perhaps a rainy day activity. We are pleased with the quantity and assortment of fun designs. I am planning on doing an activity with younger children, so the sharpie marker activity is better than painting suncatchers for us (As the other reviewers advised).

Cross Sun Catchers
Super cute! A lot of fun! Kept some energetic kiddos very entertained! They loved them! The kids loved making their own but also loved seeing how others decorated theirs!

GREAT project!
Yes, definitely get these sun catchers! We used permanent makers instead of the mess of dealing with sun catcher stain and the markers worked great! I had children kingergaten through 5th grade working on this project and they all enjoyed it. In fact my middle school age youth who help with the program all wanted to make one too! We have a lot of yarn around so we put a piece of yarn through the hole at the top of each sun catcher for hanging them up.

Good Purchase
We used these for VBS and the kids loved choosing and decorating a cross.

Great project
I did this craft as part of a 1 day VBS craft. I had a broad range of ages from 3 years old to 12 years old. All ages were able to do the craft. The younger students needed a little assistance and the older ones had a great time decorating them. Very easy clean up. Only downfall was that they needed to dry overnight.

Great project for Ages 4-7
I bought these sun catchers and the glitter paint pens as a church project to do with 4-7 year olds. They had a great time doing it. The designs of the sun catchers are very appealing. The kids were able to use the glitter paint pens without help. (The sun catchers do take 24 hours or so to dry).

Nice suncatchers
I ordered these to see if I would like them for our VBS crafts. I used permenant markers instead of paints. The markers worked, but lighter colors don't show up well. And you have to go over the section several times. But, they turned out nice and will probably order more for VBS.

my older kids loved them
I bought several crafts for my kids during the winter weekends, when the snow blows. They weren't interested in these until I made one and showed them how pretty they looked in the window.Even though they're "cool" teens they had a great time painting them in and have asked for more designs. It's fairly quick to paint but drying time took 8 to 24 hrs depending on the thickness of the paint. Some colors look washed out but we plan on putting on a second layer of paint. If pressed for time I would use 'permanent' markers- they won't fade like washable markers. If staining is a concern, disinfectant sray cleans off permanant markers.(cleaning erasers help too)

I was disappointed that the discription did not say "paints sold separately" I was used to getting kits with everything needed included or told it was not included. By the time we realized we would need paints it was too late to order them.
