Cute Crock! This is a really cute crock! I agree with other reviews that it would not do so well for baking bread; however, it will make a really nice planter, which is what I am going to use it for. Great price! July 12, 2012

very nice looking I bought this because of the saying & thought what a perfect size for a little bread. I had planned on making, leaving the bread in the container & add some decorations before giving them away. But, after reading the reviews, I'm hesitant to use it. I was disappointed there wasn't a recipe or suggestion guide included. July 12, 2012

ONLY for decoration!!! This IS the cutest little bowl. However, I used it ONCE to make bread in the oven. The crock was horribly difficult to get the bread out of, and it burned it on the outside, and undercooked the inside (yes, I know how to make bread, ha ha). But the worst thing was the crock "crackled" all over, with deep lines inside and crazing all over the outside. I'm afraid if I heated it again it would crack through completely. So for the price (giving it away!) I would recommend using ONLY as a display item or holder for things in the kitchen. Do NOT heat the crock. I don't think I got a defective one, because I heard this from some other friends who ordered it at the same time I did last year. May 4, 2012
