Design-A-Room Mountain Background
I purchased four of these scenes to decorate our gym for our own winter olympics. The sale price was awesome and they looked great...just like on the top of a mountain at Vancouver. I only wished I had purchased two more! I used clear package sealing tape to adhere the scene to the wall. Hung great (you do need two people to hang it) and even clung to the gym walls. The best part was when we took it down, the sealing tape peeled right off with no holes or tearing. I would buy these again in a heartbeat!

We used this Design-A-Room scene to cover our large bulletin board during a winter luncheon. The scene was lovely. It was a generous size so it more than covered the board. I would recommend this item.

The one we ordered had a blue ink stain over a portion of print. Don't know how we'll cover that, but we'll come up with something.

Great for Camping Theme Birthday
We used this to decorate our living room walls to create some ambiance for our daughter's camping theme birthday party recently. The price was great because I purchased it at the sale price of $5.99.

Used this for a background for my Winter Olympic Themed Party. All of my guests loved it!

We were doing a camp themed VBS and it worked great for the back wall of our Family Life Center. Gave the feel of having the mountains in the background.

The product was not bad except it had a cut all the way through it in the middle of the background. When it was packaged someone cut through one side so every other fold was cut.

I love it!
These scene setters are great! They really provide that extra OOMPH to our holiday decorations. I recently used some on the outside of my house (St. Patrick's Day leprechauns) and I got so many compliments from neighbors and even passersby!
The putty works really well but I also recommend some scotch tape on some surfaces (be careful with drywall and wallpaper) to bolster its holding power.

Fun Winter Wonderland Scene...
We went with the bright winterwonderland scene and animals to fill the background of our Santa pictures. It looked wonderful and every child was surprised by the winterwonderland when they visited Santa.
The only downfall is that it is a thin plastic and you have to cut out all the extra images (trees, snowmen, animals) which takes lots of time.

In plans to entertain a huge group of people for Christmas Day, I was excited to make the whole room say 'winter' using these colorful room decorations.
I used the recommended putty to put the scene onto my wall...putty sticks to wall fine, but the scene doesn't stick to the putty!!! 30 feet of my room scene was on the floor when I got out of bed on the day my guests were coming!!! After contemplating putting the scene back up for the dinner, I decided not to. I was SO disappointed!!! I had already wasted way too much time putting up the decorations, needless to say the money it cost me (and putting it up alone is nearly impossible!). I was torqued!
The incident wont keep me from purchasing another room scene....and I'm not suggesting that anyone avoid this purchase. The scene is colorful, and definetely changes the 'flavor' of any room. I would, however, suggest that you plan on using something besides the putty that is suggested for hanging the plastic. The putty might hold up the background alone, it's very light plastic...but if you are going to place the detailed pictures onto the background (which are made of a heavier plastic) you will need to hang the background securely, with something more substantial. Next time I will use pins or tacks. (Tape was a bust because it tears the plastic when you take it off).
