DIY Coin Banks - 12 pcs.
Great value for the price
We used this item for our children at church to create their own bank for our Harvest Day celebration. It is easy to decorate because it can lay flat for you to draw on before putting it together. Easy assembly too!

Nice for the price
Not too difficult to put together once you get the hang of it. Might be hard for kids. I put these together before hand and gave the kids a strip of construction paper to decorate and glue in place. Hint: stand cardboard on edge and slide the end along the inside until it meets the adhesive, then press. No dents or wrinkles.

Do not recommend
This product was awful. The cardboard roll does not line up properly with the plastic lid and the whole thing is wonky and impossible to close properly. Once you tack the cardboard together you can't pull it off without damaging the whole thing. I would have returned the whole lot had I not already opened the packaging. I was very disappointed.

As most recent reviewers warned me this is a case of you get what you pay for. These will end up in the trash, they are garbage. Adults in our office couldnt assemble these, let alone trying to get a child to do it. I am amazed that they still sell this item.

junky and not very durable
I bought these to hold the tickets I give out to my students for positive behavior. The plan was that they would put it on their desks and anytime they would earn a ticket I could quietly go slip one into their bank without disturbing the class. It was a great project and they felt that they created their very own ticket holders, but they barely lasted a day! When taking on and off the cover, the cardboard, which serves as the holder, became frayed at the edges and now the cover no longer stays on. We have had more trouble with the tickets now due to the many times the covers have fallen off resulting in a big mess with tickets everywhere. Next time, I would go for something more durable, perhaps a bank made out of plastic which doesn't get frayed.

Do not buy for any large use project!
We bought these to have the Sunday school kids collect coins for a mission project. The banks were assembled by adults and youth and they all fell apart, well, the ones that actually went together. We had to tape them and use hot glue to actually make them work, which them made them look tacky.

Bought these as a birthday party craft. Impossible to build. Cheap cardboard paper that is too hard for kids to make into the piggy bank. Disappointed.

Worst product EVER!
I use OTC a lot for my children's ministry. I bought these for a fundraiser the children and these are the worst product I have ever bought at OTC. They are impossible to put together. I cannot even use these banks because they look so bad. Please save yourself the money and the time it takes to assemble and don't buy them!

WORST THING EVER
I bought this for the sunday school kids to make banks and save their change for the missionaries. They are so cheap that everytime I tried to put the top on the cardboard middle it would bend. Terrible product. Should have had plastic middles. We'll try something else probably elsewhere.
