Kid's LOVED them!
Week long kid's camp serving kids 6 to 11 years old. We decorated these bags on the first day and they lasted all week! There were a few bags that frayed on the strings but that could have been the kids banging them around. The kids carried their water bottles and Bibles around plus any rocks etc they picked up. I had read the reviews and bought an extra dozen bags to cover any damaged ones. There were 200 kids at camp and overall I only replaced 6 bags! Great deal - the kid's loved them and they were just big enough.

Great value
These back packs were a great surprise - much better than I expected for the price! Nice fabric and great colors - the kids were thrillled!

Definitely a great choice
I used the bags to iron on the theme for my 4 year olds party. They looked great and the kids and their parents loved them. The price was just right, too.

On the small side
I bought a set of these bags to use as gift bags for the never-ending string of children's birthday parties because, at this price, they are as cheap (if not cheaper) than paper gift bags and much more re-usable. They are a good size to carry for small tots, but almost too small to hold even an 8x10-inch-sized picture book, since it no longer cinches up when you put a book that size into this small bag. That really limits the types of gifts that could go into these bags and their usefulness in re-using to carry coloring books to restaurants, etc.
The bag itself is cheaply made of very thinly woven cotton (not remotely sturdy canvas), but I didn't expect sturdiness at this price, and I still think they are better than throw-away paper gift bags. I made a couple of iron-on fabric monogram letters that I ironed on to the middle of the bag, and it made the bag look so much more special.

bags
I have used these bags for several years for our teen mission trips for goodies for the trip. They always hold up well, very few problems if any!

Not the best quality
Quality of canvas is not very good with loose threads sticking out of it. Too many areas of poor seams quality. Some drawstrings are unraveled.

great for kids events
I bought these for kids to decorate and collect scavenger hunt items for a weekend reunion. They worked perfectly! We used markers and fabric paint. The girls especially loved it. Note that these are small (kids size) and not appropriate for carrying school books. They are basically lightweight cloth drawstring bags with the strings arranged so kids can wear them over the shoulder.

So-So
Bought these for Bring Your Child to Work Day. The quality was ok, but the bag was smaller than expected. We bought fabric markers (as suggested on site) and planned to have the kids color them, but 2 of the colors were too dark to color. Fortunately we had extras and were able to give out only the light colored bags.

Disappointed in product
I was very dissapointed in the quality of this product. Much thinner than I expected. Size was much smaler than I expected even after measuring it out at home. Was planning to use as Preschool book bags for read at home project done by Girl Scouts. I don't think most of their library take home books will fit. :(

Drawstring back packs
I purchased these back packs to put together school kits to send off to Lutheran world relief. Needless to say the size would not even hold the 280 sheets of paper placed in the kits let alone the other supplies we were required to send. I reviewed the catalog and all of the pictures and the description of these back packs it did not mention the dimentions of the back pack. My mistake, one I will not make again. I want to send them back
