DIY 3D Dragons with Wings
Super Easy,Fun Craft
We used this craft at a "Royalty" Themed School event. Boys and Girls alike enjoyed designing their own dragon. It was easy, fun and came in a great size. We did not try to fly them in school but it was a neat take home craft.

worse shipment of dragons ever
the dragons arrived covered in mildew. They had evidently been wet at one time without being properly dried before packaging them. The paper is wrinkled and I don't know if they are salvageable enough to use. The print on one side is off centered so if you would be using them with a child it would not come out looking correct.

The dragon is cute, but the opening for the wings is too big, so the wings have to be hot glued in to work. Even then it doesn't fly well at all. Cute + bad flying = just okay.

I used these for a birthday party. I gave the kids permanent markers and paint to decorate their dragons. The kids had fun and spent a lot of time on them. I had another craft for them, but we ran out of time. After finishing one side, we played a game to allow them to dry and then they came back to paint the other side. I also had glitter to add after they were dry.

Not what I was expecting
I purchased these to use for my son's birthday party - the "layers" came apart (cardbord separated from foam core) and the printing on the dragon was not always correct. I would not purchase these again.

We ordered these, and they arrived crushed. Got a new set sent right out (great customer service). But alas, the second set came with many crushed dragons too. These are just poor quality. Putting on the nose-weight took all my husband's and my effort (they just don't really fit), and we managed to crush half of the remaining noses. The great thing is that the kids absolutely LOVED having dragon races with these dragons, and they did fly well. Unfortunately, they were terrible quality, and all were all pretty much broken after 20 minutes of play.

Dragon Party Hit
This was a fun craft at my child's sleepover. When the kids settled down, they spent an hour coloring detailed patterns onto their dragons and then flying them around the house. One of the 12 dragons was not balanced properly and could not fly, but the rest worked great.

I bought these for my daughter's third grade class. They loved them. The kids used markers and sharpies to decorate. They do smudge here and there but the kids don't mind. The nose piece needs to be adjusted just so in order to fly so do up a practice one ahead of time. I also brought some glue dots incase some of the wings didn't fit just so. The fly well enough for kids. I would buy them again. Just be prepared with some glue dots or tape.

A group of girls, ages 9 to 11, spent an hour carefully coloring scales on their designer dragons. The best part was how great the dragons flew when all done. Only one seemed to be off balance beyond repair.
