I used the beach balls as give aways for my child's last day of 4th grade. I printed stickers with the school's mascot and the school year on them, and stuck them to the balls. All the kids got a ball and everyone had a sharpie to sign everyone else's ball. The kids loved it, and unlike most t-shirts you sign, it was one size fits all.

I bought these for my 10year old luau party, They were a big hit! A little smaller than a traditional beach ball, but the kids loved them. I used a "sharpie" marker for the kids to decorate and they worked great!

We got these plain beach balls for the kids to decorate themselves as an activity at my daughters party. Great idea. Kids and parents loved it!

by NCCarolinaMom Good size for kids
I bought two sets of these for my daughters luau party. Blew them up this evening for the party day after tomorrow. The balls are a nice size....not too big for the children to decorate.
But....one of the balls has a big slit it in, therefore it is useless! It leaves me in a predicament now, as one child will be without a beach ball!
If it had not been for the slit.....this purchase would have been 5 stars.

Got these for an autograph party for my daughters last elementary school party. They would have been great, if they were actually round. I buy a ton of stuff from oriental trading, and this won't stop me in the future, but this particular purchase wasn't the best.

Kids enjoyed this project. A few balls were not inflatable, and some had shrunk over time.

Good luck keeping markers from smearing on this product. The balls are a bit lopsided and permanent markers feel sticky, even after letting them dry a while. I wound up having to clean up smudges with hand sanitizer, which worked well, and tried to set the ink with baking soda. This kept the balls from smudging further, although I'm not sure what happened when the balls were played with in water. I used Sharpie markers, as well as OT permanent markers and had the same results.
