Just what I needed
I went on a cruise and bought these lanyards for our "Sign & Sale" cards. Worked great after punching a hole in the card and attaching a split ring. I also bought the flowered change purse to get the split ring. EVERYBODY LOVED IT!

rock star themed childs party
i purchased these to create a back stage pass for the vip's invited to my daughters birthday party yesterday. my daughter is 7and very tall for her age, and her lanyard ended right at her belly button...by the time we hung the pass on it that we had made, it was clear down by her crotch. several of the party guests are petite, and their backstage pass was bumping on their legs as they were dancing. they loved them, though! if i had had more time, i would have trimmed a bit from the material and sewn them back together. we made our own passes, but i i did have to buy the pack of split rings they sell on this website in order to attach them to the lanyard...so this does require a bit of extra cost as well as additional time. as others have reviewed, the marker colors did bleed, but only a tiny bit...it did not hurt the look at all. overall, i think they were worth it!

Good purchase
Using for a special group we have on Wednesdays at our church called AWANAS. Works perfect to make name tags for the kids.

Served our purpose well
I purchased these lanyards for a church camp. They were the perfect length and the children (and adults) did not complain about them at all! It would be nice if it came with an openable ring, but I solved this with another ring. I would purchase these again.

No open hook at bottom
This item did not do what I wanted it to. There is no opening at the bottom hook to insert (like on a key ring). It is a solid ring. We improvied and made it work.

Just what we needed!!
I purchased these for my Girl Scouts to use to pin their SWAPS on to make it easier to collect and trade them. They were perfect for us! We were able to put our troop number and the girls' names on them. I am getting ready to buy more for the new girls in the troop. I see others complain about the length and the lack of a clip, but if they read the product description they would see that it says they are 33 inches long and have a metal loop.

Served the purpose I guess
I bought these to use for our football team parents (including myself) since we had a lot of new kids and we were not familiar with who had what jersey number for the first few games. I made up laminated cards that had the boys names and numbers on there. They were long, which was nice so you could view front & back of card and not choke yourself! I bought this particular one so that they could be decorated. I put my son's name & number and team name on mine. However, the material was so thin that it bled through & spread when I used some of my sharpies. So just a warning to those who plan to decorate them. I haven't yet experimented with using stamps on them to see if that ink spreads. I also bought those little clip things (200ct for $4.99) to use to attach my cards since the rings on the bottom did not open and those worked fine. They worked for what I needed them for, just a little disappointed that the decorating didn't work as well.

perfect
Used these as nametags for VBS. Kids put their names right on the lanyard and we strung some 'daily tokens' on the ring.
Kid's LOVED them and some still wear theirs to church as nametags! Yeah, some were kinda long for the preschoolers, but they didn't care - they loved them too!
Great buy!!
