Fundraiser fun
I bought this banner in order to better advertise my son's upcoming fundraiser at a local restaurant. I was worried about whether or not it would remain intact in the expected rain for the week it would be up. I had nothing to worry about! It was visible for a long way and it weathered the storms well. If you need an all-weather sign and don't have a lot of money, this is a great option!

Good Product
I used the banner outside. The only downside is that it was a little hard to read without something behind it. It would be nice if it wasn't quite as transparent. We used markers, which bled a little at the edge of the design, but you don't see that once the banner is hanging up. However, it was definitely worth the money & I would buy it again.

Nylon Banner
i like the size, but not how thin it is. and i had a tough time steaming out the wrinkles. i understood it's nylon, before i bought it, but even the fabric markers don't show up on it. i have used permanent on it too, but that takes about 3 times going over it all, and it's messier :( i bought this to make a welcome home banner for my husband, and it was hanging out for about 22 hours, and the colors were so faded, the blue looked like lavender and the red looked like light pink, i just bought a vinyl banner from some other site and rushed shipped it. HOWEVER this would be great for classroom projects or hanging out on very cloudy days :) just no rain!

Somewhat disappointed
I purchase this banner year after year for our Relay for Life team and have always been pleased until now. Sadly, our event was cut short due to terrible thunderstorms, but we didn't even get to participate in the team lap and walk behind our banner because the tempera paint (that is sold with the banner in a kit) ran and smudged when it got wet and our banner was ruined. I had no idea that none of it would be "run-resistant" and that it would not hold up. I'm also beginning to have complaints from my artists/painters that it takes an incredibly long time to finish because you have to use soo many coats of paint to get it to show up. I'll buy the banner again, but I will definitely not use it with the suggested paints.

Banner
Lightweight, see-thru banner. Different type of fabric than we anticipated. Don't use anything other than a fabric pen or marker no matter what anyone tells you. I fyou attempt to use anything else, it will bleed over.

Poor Quality
I bought this as a gift and I was embarassed when the banner was taken out of its bag. There were large stains in several places on the banner..

Second time Happy
I have just received my second banner and I will be ordering more. When I received the first I was skeptical because of the light weight, but using a combination of sharpie markers and fabric markers garnered great results! The colors were true and the banner was visible and held up amazingly well. The first was for VBS and just used for a short time. We are now making one for our Campus Ministry to use over and over. I have confidence the students will find this easy to work with too!

An event
We take these "paint your own banners" to Nicaragua on mission trips. For our "adult" Bible studies in remote impoverished areas, the adults paint familiar Bible stories on these banners. We put plastic sheeting underneath to stop the bleed through of the paint. Watching the adults paint for the first time is an amazing experience. This product and the paints make this an enjoyable experience for all. I have no complaints.
