I bought these last year for my 3rd grade RCIA class. They are very well made and the kids are able to decorate them any way they want.

Great product
These wood crosses are great! We had our afterschool program children ages Kindergarten through 5th grade paint them and the next week they got to add gems, buttons, etc. All the children loved this project. I noticed another review commented on some of the crosses being rough and requiring sanding. I think if a cross is rough it is just fine that way. We told the children that the cross Jesus hung on was certainly rough and if their cross was rough it was meant to be that way. They thought it was cool if their cross had some rough parts! And the paint took to all the parts just fine.

Very Nice
Very nice. I added some wood on the bottom, added a solar light, and a small flower, painted white. Used for grave decorations. Turned out very nice.

Impressed
I bought these crosses to make crucifixes. The shipment I received was better than expected. The crosses were very substantial, though needed just a touch of sanding in a few places. I went with an oil to prep the wood, since staining didn't turn out good with the glue and a little putty in spots prevented a good coverage. The crucifixes turn out awesome for the refuge.

better than expected
these crosses are wonderful for the idea I had for my sunday school class-for 6 sundays,we will be adding something to our crosses that signify the meaning of easter-then the last one will be put on at easter & then they can take them home as a reminder-quality is excellent!a real bargain!

Good, basic project cross.
I purchased these crosses to stain and decorate with the symbols of baptisms which I perform. The business card slot on the bottom is a great addition to allow me to add a card stating the name, date and location of the baptism. They worked well.
