A wonderful product/craft
We had a craft party and ordered the boxes. They were such a hit with the 11 year olds. I almost didn't order them because of the negative reviews I had read but ours were great. I had 12 girls and the 12 jewelry boxes were great! I am so happy I took a chance and ordered them. They aren't perfect quality but they were perfect for the kids. They loved them.

Worst box purchase ever
I own a craft business on Maui. There is only one small craft store on the Island and so unfinished wood boxes must be ordered off the internet. No price is low enough to make up for the very poor workmanship of this product. I foolishly purchased several dozen. 75% of the heart handles were misaligned with each other or crooked. Some boxes were unusable due to either the drawer face falling off (weak/not enough glue), cracked wood or wood that had machined grooves running down the side. I sent some back... the replacements were no better. Stay away.

Nice jewelry boxes for personalization
As a jewelry designer I am always looking for bargains in my raw materials. I am branching out & thought I would try out these lightweight unfinished wooden boxes to see what I could do with them. They are well enough built, but I am having to sand them smooth all over before I design on them. Also, I wouldn't say the little hearts on the front of the drawers qualify to be called "knobs": you can't really grip them to open the drawer. Nice decoration, though.

Really cute!
Very cute boxes, the top opens nicely and they are very fun to decorate. My only con is the drawers fit a little loosely and fall out. Otherwise loved them.

Great Item-Good Quality
I bought these for a Princees & Pop Star Party & Sleepover. I am using them for table favors. We painted them a solid color & put little jewelry pieces in the drawer & top.
The girls will decorate with gems etc. after the dinner.
I was worried about the quality, but they are really nice for the price. One came with the drawer front off, but a little glue fixed that.

Not bad for the price!
Overall, these jewelry boxes were super cute and of good quality. I did have a few that had uneven drawers or drawers that were stuck. My daycare children (ages 2-6) painted them up and decorated them with jewels and flowers; we also did some jewelry crafts to go along with our theme.

Cambria "Y" after-school-program Junior Cheer Ambassador Leadership "Mastery" Club will be using these design your own wood jewelry boxes to keep track of what they have to say Thank You for... Their Service Learning Project every year has the title Thank You for... with their motto being ...the more you find to say Thank You for... the more you find to say Thank You for... The fourth and fifth grade students are the grades participating in the Leadership "Mastery" Club. Daily they will fill the drawers of their jewelry boxes (which we refer to as Treasure Boxes) with little Thank You for... cards. Their Thank You for... cards promote thinking about what they have in their life to be grateful for...creating their own Treasure Boxes to keep their written Thank You for... brings alive their attitudes of gratitude. We say Thank You for... Oriental Trading for producing such a quality product and at a great price.
