DIY Beautiful 3D Butterfly/Fairy Wings
We had a Tinkerbell party for our 4 year old daughter and I purchased these wings as a craft for all of the little girls to make. The wings arrived in good condition and also arrived early, which was wonderful! The wings are made of a posterboard material and have elastic bands for the arms to go through. The girls were 3 - 4 years old and they all loved decorating these wings. I purchased the little self adhesive gems and I also cut up some construction paper for the girls to glue onto the wings. The back center of the wings seems to be a little weak and a few ripped apart. But, we had tape and we fixed the wings up better than new. Having some colorful duct tape would be a good thing to have on hand. Other than this, I loved this product and would definitely purchase this again for any future fairy or butterfly parties or play dates. The price was well worth the experience.

Wings are okay
I bought thiese wings for a Girl Scouts flying sup ceremony. Fortunately the girls will only be wearing them for about 15 minutes because they aren't going to last much longer.
The wings are flmsy. I will need to reinforce them wth packing tape on the connection between the wings. Two of them broke just as we were just trying the on.
The elastic is short so I will have to replace that. And one of those broke right away also.
And, when they are on, They fall forward and the girls have to keep pushing them back. I may try to stiffen them with craft sticks or wire.
It was better than constructing them ourselves but I'm not happy with the quality.

Worst Purchase ever
These were the worst thing I ever got through Oriental Trading. My school bought them for a Christmas concert and I had second grade girls do the part and every single one of them broke on the paper strap in the middle and almost every strap came off. I ended up taping them back together and any little spots that I missed still fell apart.

Worst Purchase Ever
These were the worst product I ever had purchased. Almost everyone of the wings tore or the straps broke. Very flimsy cardboard. What a waste of money for our program.

these were wonderful! Even the 2 year olds enjoyed them! The only downside was that they were a little flimsier than I thought they would be! But super fun and added SO much to the party! would definitely recommend them!

Great art project, however best for small kids ages 3-5. My six year old had to be very careful taking her wings on and off to not pull out the elastic loops. I took the advice of another buyer and painted the larger wings and let the kids decorate with pens and stickers the smaller wings. They loved wearing them at the b-day fairy party however they are delicate since they are just made of thick paper. Keep a staple and tape close by for quick repairs!

Fun for the price~
I ordered these for my daughter's Tinker Bell themed party. All the girls loved decorating them and wore them the whole time. The elastic strap fell off a few of them but I just stapled it back and they were better than ever. I hope these come back in stock, I would order them again just to have on hand when the kids get bored.

A real bargain
My daughter's two year-old birthday party was Butterfly themed. The week of I looked in earnest to find/ borrow wire & cloth wings for the children. But they would have been too expensive/ not everyone would have been able to take them home. There were 12 kids, ages ranging from 2- 7. This product was by far the cheapest and best for party favors. Kids and parents enjoyed the craft activity. We pre-painted the larger base wings a solid color and the kids used washable paint and sponges during the party to decorate the smaller top wings. The boys and girls had fun running around wearing them, thanks to the elastic bands, the rest of the party! It gets 5 stars because for 84 cents a piece, before shipping, it's a real bargain for FUN, short term use!

We hosted a butterfly princess party for 5 year olds and they loved the wings! It was a great craft - they could decorate as they wanted and then wear them as part of the costume. The wings stayed together for the most part -only kids who were rough on them (at the playground) had problems. We'll definitely do this again!

Fun party craft
My daughter and her friends truly enjoyed this craft at her fairy-themed 6th birthday party! We decorated, then sprayed them lightly with some glitter paint and away flew the fairies. They were a hit :) Suggestions for future versions of this product would be sturdier card stock.
