I bought these as a gift to help club members save their loose change for our group project. The cardboard cylinder is tricky to adjust so that the top and bottom fit properly without coming apart too easily, and the adhesive is unforgiving. But they will serve the purpose, and they are not too costly.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by cctyger Easy to decorate and assemble
We used these bank crafts in our church-wide Bible school, along with the New Testament story of Zacchaeus, the tax collector. They were easy to assemble and we just used stickers for the decoration part. It was easy to do and hopefully, the attendees took them home to fill with coins for other projects our church has.

Four years ago I bought my first batch of these to use as voting canisters for our annual wine tasting party. Even though I saw some negative reviews I figured I would give them a chance. They were perfect that first time and have been each year since. Even after being assembled they store well in a dry space to be used again the next year. I ordered more again this year because our wine party is growing. Some people gave these little darlings some negative reviews, because no, they are not perfect, but what do you expect at this price? They did the job and look absolutely just fine. LOVE THEM !!!

Kids enjoyed decorating and the finished product was great, however, they are a bit difficult to assemble. The kids couldn't do it without LOTS of frustration. It would have been better if we had adults to assemble them after the kids had moved on to another activity.

These banks are hard to assemble easily and not worth the investment regardless of price. I used them as a fundraiser event and they were not wanted. I tried to ask $2.00 for each expecting to cover the cost of them and then some. I showed the banks to the attendees at our event and hawked how they could be decorated by their grandchildren. The audience was on average 60+ years of age. I was surprised that it had little to no appeal.

I bought these banks for a Lenten devotion use at church. They are difficult to put together as they have to be exact in assembly. They would be almost impossible for a child or elderly person with arthritic fingers.

A little tricky to put together. After about 2 weeks the tape can start to loosen. Great concept. Easy to customize.
