These are fun DIY projects that little music makers are sure to enjoy. Decorate these paper rainsticks, then shake them to make the rhythm of rain! They're fun percussion instruments for your little musicians' band! "Rain" sound depends on number of your own beads added. 8 1/2" © OTC

Age Recommendation:

Ages 5 & Up: Containing medium-sized pieces with the occasional angular edge, these lightweight to sturdy crafts may require some assembly such as stringing beads or gluing items to create a 3D project.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Doesn't Sound Like Rain Unfortunately, the materials used to make the rainsticks are not the highest quality. The foam caps don't allow you to hear the pebbles hitting the end of the stick, which really lessens the rain effect. They did not produce an authentic rainstick sound. I was disappointed that I was not able to use them in my program. April 14, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Okey We bought these for our GS Girls Rock camp this year. The Brownies really loved the craft, but juniors and above (3rd gr and above) weren't as thrilled, though they liked decorating the outside. August 4, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible Product These things are flimsy. Trying to assemble them is frustrating. The tags don't fit into the slots well, so the cardboard rips. They pop apart. Putting the end pieces on is impossible.I ended up having to hot glue the end pieces to paper towel rolls and use those instead. I also had to tape them on because the end pieces were too large to properly fit the paper towel rolls. April 29, 2012
