DIY Tin Purse
I use these to hold my photos-in order-when going to scrap. We travel and a group of each trip fits nicely in one Tin Purse. I have decorated the outside as a treat to myself, they look like a finished project all by themselves. I use and re-use them, but never seem to have enough.

I love this tin and recommend to others.
I will be using this for card making. It stores my made cards. I also take this tin to classes and workshops.

Great potential. Poor quality
Ordered 6, three of which were dented. Would recommend this product with advice to order more than needed. Those that arrived in good condition were great.

Came in good condition.
I use these for my card classes. They make great places to keep cards.

exactly what we needed for a class
We have a card club that meets twice a month. We do mostly cards but every now and then someone teaches a new technique or project. We are using alcohol ink on these and decorating. They can then be for handmade cards or embossing folders or whatever else you want to use it for. I ordered for 2 other ladies and myself.

This was the best batch of tin purses that I have gotten, I ordered (8) tins and all of the latches were good. Sometimes the tins are dented - not this time. :)

Product was dented
I received the product quickly, but it was damaged. It was dented in two places.

Tin Purse Projects
I have ordered these tins in the past and had moderate success in their delivery. I always felt it was HOW they were packed and shipped that caused me to have to request replacements from Customer Service. This time I ordered 6 of them and EVERYONE was in great condition. First of all, they were packaged in separate boxes so that they weren't banging against each other during the shipment.
I order these tins every year for a reunion in which I decorate the tin, fill it with homemade cards and a book of stamps as a hostess gift.

not as sturdy as they appear
I bought these with the idea for a project for Christmas gifts but they are way too flimsy to use. May work for storage of some craft items if not too heavy but definitely not sturdy enough to work as a purse. Also 1 out of 5 had a latch that had been attached upside down. I have been reimbursed for that 1 but I still will not try oriental products in the future for any craft or gift that I want to be proud of.

Lost its quality
I have to say that I am was very disappointed with this purchase. I have ordered these tins in the past and have never had a problem. Unfortunately, out of the 24 tins I ordered, only 8 were able to be used. I checked them out as soon as I got them and found 5 of the clasps to be defective, so I was waiting for more to come in for an exchange. I started decorating the tins and two of them the handles came off on one side AFTER I finished applying the paper, and one came off as I was applying the paper. I then went through the rest of the box and found 8 more that were defective. I now have 3 tins partially decorated that I am trying to find glue for. If you decide to buy these tins, make sure to check the clasps and shake them so you find out right away if there are any defective parts on them. The customer service department was great, and sent me labels to send them back for a refund at no cost to me. That was the only good thing. Unfortunately, although the price is right, the quality is not.
