This is not the white bandana O.T. used to carry. This is a horrible silky acetate. It can not be used for creating your own bandana...the fabric pens smear and sharpies bleed.
I do not know what these acetate bandanas would be used for??
The material slightly repels the ink, paint or whatever you try to use. Besides smarting and bleeding the childrens hands always get very smeared with colors.
If using fabric paints or pens BE SURE to use a cardboard backing to cut down on the bleeding and to save your work surfaces.

These were just what we needed for a batik project with a large group of young girls. Arrived timely and at a good price.

These were purchased as a craft to do at my daughters' joint birthday party a week ago, and to prep for the craft, I pre washed the bandanas to allow for even tie dyeing. I'm glad that I did because I discovered that the corners of the bandanas literally frayed off and the stitching round the edges came completely undone. How disappointing it would have been if the kids had made their own bandanas only to find them completely falling apart a week later!

We used these for VBS and we tie dyed them. Came out great. Kids loved wearing these for the week of camp. They all can't wait again for this year to repeat again.
Only flaw, I wish the ends were a little better stiched, but otherwise, thera are great!
