Fun project
It was a very nice craft. Some kids had a hard time figuring out the directions but overall it was a hit.

Dream Catcher
I bought this kit for my granddaughter. I put one together first to see if it would be geared to her age and how easy it would be for her. The quality of materials are sturdy for little fingers to manipulate and went together easily and in a short amount of time. I would definitely recommend this craft for young crafters. Good project on a rainy day.

Nice but difficult
Very nice project with everything included. String was kinked after being wrapped in plastic with other supplies. The curling made it hard to tie to the feathers. The project was difficult for 11-12 year olds to complete. Even I had trouble with the short strings for the beads and feathers and modified the directions to make that part a bit easier. Markings on the outer ring to note where the first row of knots should go would help start the center webbing.
Once complete, it makes a very nice project. Just a little difficult for younger children.

good for older kids only
Bought them for a craft project for a birthday party. needed to glue the feathers ahad of time. The weaving I left for the kids to do how ever they wanted . the pattern that came with the kit was rather detailed. Kids wanted something faster and easier to do

Worth it
The ring was larger than I had thought. The kids were able to change out colors of the feathers with each other and it was very easy to put together

Would not purchase again
I purchased these for my daughter's 10th birthday party. Between myself, eight other adults, and 13 children, no one could decipher the instructions for creating the web design inside the circle with the string. Many got completely frustrated and one of my guests actually started crying over the difficulty of this craft. I would not recommend this kit to anyone.

Difficult for younger kids but worth the effort
I bought this for a project with my 5-1/2 year old and and my 3-1/2 year old. For them to do it on their own it was way too hard and you definitely cannot achieve the perfection of the picture without a lot of practice. Each one turns out unique and if you can get your kids to take on a smaller task (i.e. 3-1/2 yr old picked feather and bead combos for each and helped string them, 5-1/2 yr old assisted in stringing the web and picked the design she wanted to do) then everyone will feel accomplished in doing these projects and pride in giving them to others.

Hard for 5th graders
This project looks great on the picture, but the weaving directions are not easy to follow. I have 20 5th graders and three teachers and none were able to make it look like the picture. However, the quality is good and the kids enjoyed it anyway!
