Edible Easter Grass
We bought five dozen bags of the edible Easter Grass. What a disappointment. The taste was just horrible. The problem...the expiration date was 2008. So much for quality control..........

I ordered this for an Easter egg hunt--not even the toddlers would eat it! On the upside, it did at least LOOK good in the baskets

I'm pleased with the concept of edible grass and glad that it is environmentally safe. However, none of the nine children that I made baskets for would eat it!! They didn't like the texture or the flavor.

Bought this item several years ago.Recommend it to anyone with very young children.Kids that age tend to put anything in their mouth. No worries Mom if they eat this.Doesn't have a real sweet taste.Agree with another writer that it tastes like ice cream cone material.

I must disagree with those posting before me. We LOVE this edible easter grass. Our tastes for sweets don\\\'t favour the ultrasweet or chocolatey sweet flavours that most Americans do. The Easter grass is lightly flavoured and is crunchy. It\\\'s actually more like a cake type icecream cone. It is rather expensive where I buy it but I was just sent out to get 10 more bags. We had to be sure to have some left for Easter. To all those who voted down the taste; give it another try. I admit, the first piece I tried I did not like because it was such a foreign taste and texture. Try a little more. You will like it.

Little bags of edible grass has to be the best find of the year for me! I am sure pretty much everyone is sick of the mess the cellophane grass makes? well now you can eat EVERYTHING BUT THE BASKET! I love OTC!

Not as great as I thought!
I thought this was going to be a great product, I had been saying for years someone needed to come out with this kind of product. I bought this product last year and was shocked to find that the taste is anything but the flavors they list...it's hard to explain. The quality isn't really that great as the grass falls apart quite easy. The only reason why I would get it again is like one of the reviews before me stated.....having a infant/toddler that insists upon putting everything into their mouth. I hope someday something of better quality and taste will be invented!

Haven't used of course, but some were broken as they were not packed well and they are smaller than a basket but overall they are OK for the price.

This grass is a lot more colorful in person than it appears to be on the computer screen. It has a rather stiff consistancy which I found to be a bit odd. As for taste, I bought this because my son is not 100% out of the "putting thing in his mouth" phase, and I'm not intending on letting him do so...this is just incase:)
