fun for kids My kids love to use these in the classroom and I teach 4 year olds. They can't read the names but they get so excited when they recognize the insect! Great buy November 2, 2011

Whoops! Insects? Just by viewing the product once I could tell that they are not all insects. Some are spiders, centipedes, even a scorpion! Creepy crawlies I would consider a better title. July 8, 2011

The kids were abuzz... I used these and the stencils to make bug shirts for a kindergarden aged Camp Fire group. I bought fabric crayons and the adults helped the kids rub the design onto paper and then iron it onto the shirts. Nice size and very good detail in the design. Younger kids will need help making sure that the rubbing is dark enough for transferring, but they do enjoy the process. July 26, 2010

Rubbing plates A little small, otherwise just fine May 6, 2010

Use with paperless crayons These work best with the side of a paperless fat crayon. Children are disappointed if not directed to use them with the side. The tips of crayons just slide down in between the ridges and fill it in so it's difficult to see the rubbing. March 10, 2009
