Fabulous Foam ABC Beads
1000 alphabet beads -- how can you go wrong?
I just had my three year old art class make themselves bracelets with these beads, flower wooden beads and stretchy cording also offered by Oriental. They loved the project and were proud of their creations. We beaded using a double thickness of elastic on a blue plastic gum cleaning loop you can get at drug stores. The big eyed needles Oriental Trading offers are too big for most beads, including these. The children loved creating bright name bracelets with these lovely colored beads. This would also be a great item for a Montessori sorting tray. Buy a pack and set out with two empty clear plastic egg cartons for sorting by letters, or a few baby food jars for sorting by colors.

The kids love these beads but many of the pieces were broken and unusable.
These beads are very colorful and students love to make bracelets and necklaces. The problem is that many of the pieces are broken and can't be used.

Best for young child
This product was used during arts and craft activity for summer camp. Children as young as 4 are able to put them on plastic ring to make necklaces and bracelet.

Affordable and fun!
Great colors! Easy to read! They slide right onto a pipe cleaner. My first graders love them. I wish the letters were printed on both sides of the bead...

Good product for the price. Bright and colorful, perfect for my project. All alphabet came in one bag, so it took awhile to sort them out by letters.

This product was worth the money. I was just a little disappointed with how small the holes were. I bought these beads for my 4-K students to make bracelets or necklace with. I am going to have to have the students glue them on paper now instead of beading them on string. I do like how visible the letters are, and the size of the beads. They are student friendly, and I think the students will enjoy using them to make their names and other words they are learning in class.

I bought these to make names for keytags (Dophin/Sand) for my kids at camp in Europe. Before I could give them out, the foam had separated in half and the beads had fallen off. I was very disappointed, as they really worked well and looked nice. Apparently the foam is glued together in order to get the holes for stringing. They separated so I lost several letters of the kids names. I do this project every year with beads from O.T. and this is the first time I have been disappointed.
