Fabulous Foam Pirate Frames
I used these with my second grade class and they had a ball making them. The colors are a little off (ie the brown and yellow of the chest kind of blended on some of them) but the kids didn't mind and they covered them with stickers anyways. There were a TON of stickers and I was able to let the kids use as many as they wanted. The letter stickers are small and hard to maneuver for little hands, but all the others were easy to use. I did tear off the white backing of the frame and taped the students' pictures to the frame to make it easier to get the picture to line up better and stay flat.

very good purchase
I think they fixed all the problems with the frames.

Colorful, tons of stickers, sticks well. Only flaw: Stickers don't punch out so I had to cut at least half by hand so took forever.

cheap and you can tell
I got two packages. Both were of poor quality. The treasure box colors bled into each other and were inconsistent. Some of the stickers were missing and stuck together. Overall....I would not buy it unless you really didn't care how it looked and if you had all of the pieces you can use.

great as an object lesson
We used these in VBS also as a reminder to kids that "Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." We took a picture of each child to place in the frame as a reminder to keep a check on their own heart. I only rated it as a 4 simply because we had to add the "jewels" to the kits. It would have been nice if some of the foam pieces were removed to make way for "jewels."
