Fish Catch Game Craft Kit
Best Purchase ever
It was the best Craft Kit that I bought and very
easy to put together. can't wait for my children at church to put it together. We are going to do the Jonah and the Whale unit.

These little games are very cute. The basic paddle asssembly is easily doable for children. However the Fish requires adult assembly. The holes on the fish and paddle handle are too large so even with a double knot the string would still pull through. I had to knot the string through a bead to keep the knot from slipping. I definitely recommend using the glue dots for the fish fins and tail. Since this is a VBS project with larger classroom size, we will premake the fish and string assembly and children will glue the paddles designs on.

Not what I expected.
I didn't realized that the pieces were not self-stick, but rather required glue. SInce it wasn't self-stick I ended up not using them for a 5-year-old's birthday party. They would have been too complicated, would have required too much supervision, and wouldn't have been dry in time for the kids to play with them at the party. (The glue dots someone mentioned is a good idea.) They would work well for a day care or church group project where this was the focus and for kids 6+ years old. I'm going to see if I can return them.

Great for the Price
This was a great price and my 7yr old son loved working on it on his own.

More in a package
It would be nice if there could be packages of 18. We used these for a VBS craft and sometimes 12 is not enough, but 24 would be way too many. Just a thought!

The little fish at the end of the string really sold me - it was so cute! I pre-glued with mini glue dots, some of the foam pieces to save time. The 3 and 4 yr olds who made these really liked playing with them.

Good for Older Kids
I got this for my daughter's 4th birthday, but it would probably be better for 6+. There is a lot of adult supervision and assistance required, along with glue. The kids really liked it, though, once it was done. Small parts are not good for young kids.
