Good product
I bought these for an event at my daughter's middle school. They are very bright and the kids LOVED them. The only downside is the necklace part is hooked through the soft rubber of the ball. It easily tears apart and several of them broke throughout the night.

disappointed
I purchased 3 dozen of these and 1 dozen did not work. Oriental Trading was kind enough to credit my account but it was disappointing. Another frustrating point is the construction of this item- at the top where it secures to the necklace, it is very fragile and breaks easily. The kids did love them though.

Okay if time to reorder
It was disappointing that only 8 of the 12 necklaces worked when I received them, but the service department was excellent, immediately mailing out another dozen necklaces, along with an appreciation gift. I would recommend this product, if you have enough time to reorder and receive a re-shipment prior to your event, since it appears from other reviews that frequently not all the necklaces are in working order.

big and bold
bought these for disney world along with the rings. both turn on and off and made finding family in the dark easier. bit pricey and kids my be tempted to rip them, but mine lasted years (with limited touching and use)

It's okay
The rings matching these necklaces are way better! The necklaces are smaller than you think and some didn't work. I'm sure they will exchange but will not arrive before the planned event. The rubber breaks at the part where the string attaches. The lights are bright and very colorful. Can be turned off or no and that's a nice feature.

fun but with cons
The kids were really excited about this one.... but.... its hard for kids to get the hang of opening and closing it, and it easily broke off the necklace so most kids ended up with loose sparkly balls.... at almost 2 dollars apiece, its also pretty steep.

The stars are fun, but some of them do not flash or turn off.

Purchased for childrens birthday party four of the necklaces did not work. I called customer service and let them know. They took care of the problem and shipped me another box.

DO NOT BUY
These stink. Less than 50% work. I ordered 5 dozen and more than 2 dozen didn't work. I was sent another 4 dozen and almost none of those worked. These are junk!!
